Leaver's cabaret , 18th June 2009

To Blowsoc and Mussoc,

For more information, visit the Facebook Group

Its that time of year again when we come to say goodbye to another group of our members...

It promises to be a fantastic memorable night but of course would not be complete without an audience and performers!

If you would like to perform at the Leavers’ Cabaret, either individually or as part of a group, then please let Laura Simpson or Kathleen Rule know asap. Please give your name and details of your act, including how long you would like to perform for. Priority will be given to leavers but we will try to accommodate as many people as possible.

We will be decorating the Venue with photos, as was done last year. If anyone would like to contribute some photos, be they nice, or embarassing, please upload them onto this event by the end of next week and we will do our best to print as many as possible.

Also...if anyone is interested in hosting the cabaret (introducing the different acts etc) please contact us.

We very much look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will join us in making this an enjoyable night for our leavers to remember.

Thank you,

Laura and Kathleen Xxx

Blowsoc-Mussoc ball, 14th June 2009

THE MusSoc and BlowSoc night of the year is approaching .....

For more information, visit the Facebook Group

The SUMMER BALL will be on Sunday 14th June, at Britannia Hotel.

For the AMAZING price of £35, you get a drinks reception by the lake, coaches to the venue, a glass of bubbly at the hotel, photographer, three-course meal, live band AND a DJ - what more could you ask for?!

Sign-up will start in the department on the MusSoc notice board the day we get back, that's MONDAY 20th APRIL, and you will then have three weeks to get yourselves signed up and get cheques in - this means sign-up will close on FRIDAY 8th MAY. There is an unlimited number of places but please get signed up asap!

I'm afraid we can't accept any payments in cash this time - it MUST be in form of a cheque, made out to U of N SU BLOWSOC (NB, not MusSoc!). Please write your name on the back of the cheque, and the names of anyone else you are paying for with that cheque, this makes things a LOT easier for working out who has paid!

The Ball is an amazing way to end the MusSoc and BlowSoc calendar, miss it and miss out, big time!
