2/03/2008: A quick note that Musicality are performing 'Into the Woods' next week go to their facebook group to find out more.

We are also glad to announce musicality will be joing us for a performace during the Summer Festival, more details to follow.

1/02/2008: We are glad to announce that we will be continuing to put on Grade-One-Athon, hosted jointly with Mussoc, visit this facebook group

Money Raised from this will go to the Firebird Trust which is a local charity who provide support to disadvantaged through music and arts.

30/1/2008: We are now able to reveal the amount raised through the Blowsoc Christmas Concert on the 5th December. The total is over

26/11/07: The 5th of December is quickly approaching and so is the concert so for all of those with tickets sell by any means neccesary (stop short of any illegal activity though) and for those of you not planning find someone wth tickets and get some it will be a great evening of music, topped off with some mulled wine and mince pies!

4/11/07: On 27th October, a group of Blowsoccers headed on down to the University Sports Centre to participate in a charity event. The event, Kontact Games, was organised by Kontact which is part of Karni. Small groups from the clarinet, saxophone and double reeds ensembles attended to provide some musical entertainment during the lunch break. The event was a huge success and we are thankful to the kontact team for asking us to be involved in the event.
