Moonlighters auditions Jazz musicians who are interested in playing in a competitive and creative big band. Moonlighter's comprises Saxes, Trumpets, Trombones, Bass, Keyboard and all sorts of percussion. The band’s repertoire includes a wide variety of music, ranging from original big band pieces by Duke Ellington and Count Basie, to the funky tunes of the Average White Band and Jaco Pastorius. We are a paid Ensemble, regularly playing gigs from Society parties to weddings, and last year we recorded a 4-track demo of ourselves. Moonlighters takes on anything that gets your feet moving! We enjoy an active social life, last year touring Belgium and being the only band to drink at rehearsals!
