Blowsoc is the official woodwind and brass instrument society of the University of Nottingham

Blowsoc is a large society which gives wind, brass and percussion players a chance to join both auditioned and unauditioned ensembles, ranging from double reed ensemble to the Moonlighters big band. The society puts on a number of concerts including free lunch time concerts throughout the university term and a Christmas Extravaganza Concert. There are also many social events put on by the society, including the end of year Blowsoc/Mussoc Ball and also the hotly contested Blowsoc/Mussoc Footbal Matches. And if you didn't think that was enough there is also a yearly tour to Europe.
